Grim, but we passed a motorcyclist who had come off his bike on the freely to Halong Bay. With all these motorcycles about and 4 million in Hanoi alone we figured accidents a common occurrence. They are with 30 people dying on the roads a day! But given the population of 92 million this works out roughly to be the same as in NZ.
